A Charter Ordinance amending Charter Ordinance No. 11 and providing for a maximum levy limitation for the Jay Johnson Public Library.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF QUINTER, KANSAS:

Section 1.  The City of Quinter hereby wishes to amend Charter Ordinance No. 11, an Ordinance exempting the City from the provisions of K.S.A. 1994 Supp. 79-5028 and setting a levy for the City Library.

Section 2.  Section 2 of Charter Ordinance 11 is hereby amended to read:  The following is added to the provisions of K.S.A. 1994 Supp. 79-5028 and amendments thereto: (h) the levy of taxes by the Governing Body of the City of Quinter for the Library Fund as authorized by K.S.A. 12-1220 to the extent of (12) TWELVE Mills.

Section 3.  Charter Ordinance No. 11 is hereby amended as set forth herein.

Section 4.  Ordinance 492 is hereby repealed.
